New Hampton School
New Hampton School has got a big and wonderful cafeteria that is open for breakfast since 7:00 to 9:00; for lunch since 12:00 to 1:00 and at least for dinner since 5:00 to 6:00. The cafeteria is a kind of buffet style and is free for students and faculty.
This place doesn't allow reservations because doesn't need it. At New Hampton School all weeks we have a different theme and this week is "Culinary Arts" and the cooks allowed us to do a cooking class this was possible because of the kindness of the people who work there. In the dining hall there are many special events like barbecues and brunches.
I think that the service is great: there aren't waiters and so we have to do everything (like bus our own tables) by ourself, but this is fine because customers are very polite like all the people who come there. Also because the atmosphere in the cafeteria is very calm and ordered. The place is very clean, there is the right temperature because now in the USA is very hot, but the dining hall has got air conditioning. There are also big big windows from which you can see a wonderful view of all the School with his trees, flowers, a lake and birds. That place is plenty of light and is noisy only when there are sports camps, otherwise is quit. In the hall there are many colorful paintings, flags from different countries, wooden chairs and tables. There are eight seats per table, but if we want, we can add chairs. The cafeteria is composed by two rooms (one is larger and one is smaller). All days cooks cook different kind of food and sometimes also international food (Chinese, Italian..). There are many desserts and a lot of fresh fruits and there also many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. We enjoy so much the time that we spend in the cafeteria because we stay all together and we have a lot of fun. I can suggest you to come in this cafeteria.
